Admissions & Assessment

How do I know if Pathways is the right place for me or my loved one?

The best place to begin is with a confidential consultation. Our clinical team will assess your situation, discuss your concerns, and recommend the most appropriate level of care based on individual needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.

How do I arrange an admission?

Simply contact our admissions team by phone, WhatsApp, email, or through our website. We will arrange an initial consultation, either in person or via our secure online platform, and guide you through the admissions process.

Can someone be admitted urgently?

Where clinically appropriate and subject to availability, urgent admissions can often be arranged. Our team will advise on the safest and most suitable pathway following an initial assessment.

What should I bring with me?

Before admission, you will receive a detailed packing guide covering clothing, medications, identification, personal items, and anything else you may need during your stay.

Treatment & Clinical Care

What conditions do you treat?

We provide treatment for substance use disorders, alcohol dependence, prescription medication misuse, dual diagnosis conditions, anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, and other complex mental health concerns.

Do you provide medically supervised detox?

Yes. Where appropriate, detoxification is carried out under psychiatric supervision with careful monitoring, symptom management, and personalised treatment planning.

Is every treatment programme the same?

No. Every client receives an individualised treatment plan based on their clinical assessment, medical history, psychological needs, recovery goals, and personal circumstances.

Will I receive one-to-one therapy?

Yes. Individual therapy forms an important part of treatment, alongside psychiatric care, group sessions, family work, wellness activities, and personalised recovery planning.

Family & Confidentiality

Can my family be involved in treatment?

Yes. Family involvement is encouraged whenever it is clinically beneficial and with the client’s consent. Family consultations and educational sessions may be incorporated into the treatment programme.

Will my treatment remain confidential?

Absolutely! Protecting our clients’ privacy is fundamental to everything we do. All consultations, records, and treatment remain strictly confidential in accordance with professional and ethical standards.

Can my family visit me?

Visiting arrangements depend on each client’s treatment plan and stage of recovery. Our clinical team will advise when family visits are appropriate and beneficial.

Accommodation & Daily Life

What is daily life like at Pathways?

Clients follow a structured daily schedule that combines psychiatric care, therapy, wellness activities, nutritious meals, personal reflection, physical activity, and time for rest and recovery.

may be incorporated into the treatment programme.

What makes Pathways different from other rehabilitation centres?

Our boutique model allows us to care for only a small number of clients at any one time. This enables highly personalised treatment, greater privacy, psychiatrist-led care, exceptional staff-to-client ratios, and a truly integrated approach to recovery.

What wellness activities are included?

Depending on the treatment plan, clients may participate in yoga, mindfulness, gardening, nutritional education, outdoor cooking, therapeutic workshops, swimming, steam, cold plunge therapy, art and music sessions, fitness programmes, and other restorative activities.

Do you provide personalised nutrition plans?

Yes. Every client receives a nutritional assessment, with individually tailored meal planning designed to support physical health, emotional wellbeing, and long-term recovery.

Aftercare & Recovery

What happens after I complete the programme?

Recovery continues after residential treatment. Before discharge, every client receives an individualised aftercare plan that may include outpatient psychiatric follow-up, therapy, relapse prevention strategies, wellness guidance, family support, and ongoing recovery planning.

Do you offer online follow-up appointments?

Yes. Follow-up consultations can be arranged through our secure online platform for clients who are unable to attend in person.

How long does treatment usually last?

Treatment length varies according to individual needs. Following assessment, our team will recommend the most appropriate programme, whether this is a short-term stabilisation programme or a more comprehensive recovery pathway.

How do I begin?

Recovery starts with a conversation. Contact our admissions team to arrange a confidential consultation, and we will help you understand the options available and guide you through the next steps.
